The private beach of the Grand Hotel Ortigia, available from July 1st to August 31st, is a jewel of nature: from finest sand to crystal clear sea and shallow waters, it offers every kind of comfort. The hotel’s beach offers guests any kind of amenity (showers, toilets, infirmary and changing rooms) and is and equipped with parasols, sun loungers and deck chairs: a solution tailored for those who want to experience a summer of relaxation in complete safety.
Parasols are placed at a safe distance and the sun loungers are sanitized daily to ensure relaxation, privacy and tranquility.
Spots cannot be reserved in advance and are allocated daily based on availability, until fully occupied.
The sand gently sloping in the sea and shallow waters for a long stretch allow adults to restore themselves and the little ones to swim quietly and safely.
Our private beach is accessible both by land and by the hotel’s boat service from which you can enjoy a light breeze on your face, surrounded only by the sparkling blue sea of Syracuse.
Transfer services are chargeable.
